Does anybody know if Suzuki (or anybody else) has a list of all the bolt sizes (including types of heads and pitches) on the 01 1K so that I can build myself a titanium bolt kit?

The Suzuki service manual shows all bolt sizes used on the bike.

Well you will discover that the only route to take is to do it yourself. I am, and have been for the last 2-4 months, replacing most all bolts that I can with ti. I order them online as I need them.

Why don't I complie a list and post it you say? Because my bike is far from stock, the bolts that I'm ordering are for my specific application (which I'm sure is quite different from yours).

yoyodyne titanium (www.yoyodyne.com) sells titanium bolt kits for the gixx. Top quality stuff and he's been doing it a while. I have ti rotor bolts front and rear from him. I made the mistake of buying a bolt kit from lockhart, and they're total crap.

lockhart is total crap. Half the time you order shit it is on back order. It is sad that they are the only distributor that caries some items that I purchase. Western Power Sports is now a distributor of akropovic. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I though lockhart was the sole us distributor, but the local rep says they are now a distributor and a catalog is on the way.

Btw have any of you seen that FMF (dirtbikes) now makes slip ones for the newer 600's.
Not that I would recomend it, but it is something different.

Does anyone know the part #'s for this or any of the details. I want one for my 600. And are they predrilled for safety wire?

racebolts.com has the best prices, quality, and availibility as far as I am concerned.(for Ti bolts)
I have bought quite a bit from them, never waited more than 4 days for a delivery, and I am far away from them in canada.(they are in cali)

I have purchased from yoyo, and Pro-Bolt in the past, now I only buy from racebolts.com

also, if you need an oddball, size or part, they can custom make anything.(they also sell Ti valves, axles, etc

Well I spent a small fortune on ti bolts (greatly reduced weight) on my 1k....back when I was dropping weight to hit my target of 350 lbs. I had to really measure each bolt and biuld my own "kit" for my bike. I did have a few special parts on it so it would not be the same for most 1k's.

I chose "tasty nuts".... since I could view and order online realy easy. And they were fast and friendly people (when I called to talk). Some vendors that sell online are very hard to speak with and have slow service (read they are a bunch of asses).

I purchased anodized bolts from these guys: Indigo Sports (http://www.indigosports.com/fastener.html)

They weren't cheap, and they don't have kits, but they sure were nicer than that LP crap.
