I've ordered this. It should keep the rozzers off my back as it's got a light above it:
Oh yeah, it's canadian $, so relax. Should be $10.95 U.S. :

I am not 100% these would work, ride a dinosaur ;), have any of you considered one of Watsen Designs sweet brackets?

together with this

it should be perfect - except they are not cheap. I have some of his products and though it takes a while to get them in yuor hands, to me they were worthwhile. Usual disclaimers apply.....

Oh that was me. I sent the pattern for laser cutting and then deburring and powder coating. I will be getting the test cut tommorow to see if it is to specs. Should be done in about two - three weeks. Shoot me a PM if you want in. I sent out for 100 of these to get laser cut. :cool

I would like to make my own fender eliminator kit myself....Do you know where I can go to get some information on how to do this...or is the process simple enough to where someone can just quickly tell me what to do?

Thanks.

In my opinion, you are better off just making your own opposed to paying 80+ for something that you can make for much less. Its only a license plate....

I just ordered that evo-tech one for the 06 600-750 suzuki gsxr.

Good enough for me, not really looking to drill my new bike. (whenever it arrives... HA!)

Why spend so much money?? I dont get it. I spent maybe 10 bucks at ACE and made my own little bracket and situated it so the tail light will illuminate it. Clean, simple, and cheap! Now I can take that money that i didnt spend, and fill my bike with some gas!

From my understanding all you have to do is remove the flap by unbolting it then cutting the stock rear light and tucking it under the rear fairing.

Then get some gauge aluminum and cut it to fit, bolt it to the bike by using the stock holes and bolts. then bolt the plate to the aluminum, paint it black and you are good to go.

i dont mind spending the money but i dont really like any eliminators on the market right now so this will be fine, ANYTHING is better than the damn flap, IMO

Just get creative! I just walked through ACE to see what i wanted to use, i ended up with some 1"x1/8"x3' aluminum and some huge black shrink wrap. Cut, bent and drilled the aluminum how i wanted it, then covered it in shrink wrap instead of painting it (scratch resistant!!) and i was done!

so can the 2005-1000 fit onto the 600? the tail looks the same...

I actually took my STOCK mounting bracket and made two little 90* brackets... works perfectly. I'll take picutres tonight.

Seriously, an hour of your time and a tin snips.... that's all it takes

I did the same thing Jesse Boyer did it work out really well. Cost me ZERO dollar's used all the bolts from my fender, and even made some ruber wasers from that big rubber thing on the stock light to protect the plastic from the metal. Nothing needs to go to waste
