ok here is the problem, on my 01 gix6 that i drag race second gear just took a shit on me. more specificaly i would say that the teeth on the gear are worn and causing it to slip under hard aceleration. i need to know if there is a gear upgrade, and where can i get it.

There is no gear upgrade that you can just buy, what you need to do is pull the transmission out and have the 2nd/5th gears inspected and see if they are still useable, if not you will have to purchase those gears, after you get the gears what you want to do is have the whole transmission sent out and have it "back cut or a race cut" on the gears this will prevent this from happening again for you,and will run you roughly about 200.00 to 350.00 or so.

Just like Gixxer1127 said i would just have the transmission back cut, i know that Fast by Gast does lot these transmissions, you might need to give them a call......
