Ouch...yeah those tires can be a little slippery when they are new....at least he didn't fly over the bridge

WTF just happened there... he had a LOW powered bike, and almost ZERO lean angle.........

Looks like he downshifted one too many gears coming up to the bridge..rear wheel locked briefly and he lost it....must have been his first day on the bike

i give him a 9.5 on the dismount. i have to agree with the post up top on the downshift he did something for that tire to kick or it was the cmaera guy in his face.

at least since he was an amateur, he did have his gear on.

That was in no way target fixation.

hmm

if cold tires - he let off the gas and didnt continue to finish his lean. that was his problem.

if to many downshifts and and locked up the tire - didnt do his braking before the turn.

either way kinda looks as if he got really confused

That was in no way target fixation.

how you figure? he didn't steer away and he was going straight at what he looked at. foot out when the bike didn't buck it off shows he's panicked and froze. i think it's CLASSIC target fixation.

at least he had gear on

I have to agree, classic target fixation. The lock-up led to it, but after he got pushed out of his groove, paniced when he saw the wall, and led himself right into it.
