I AM LOOKING ALL OVER CREATION FOR AN IGNITOR/CDI BOX FOR ANY YEAR SV650. I ALREADY MISSED WILLOW SPRINGS BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM, AND NEED ONE DESPERATELY. I DON'T PARTICULARLY WANT TO SPEND $495.00 THAT THE DEALER CHARGES FOR THIS PART.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME? ANYONE WITH A SPARE ONE LAYING AROUND THAT THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO SELL?

Stupid question but are you sure it's the CDI thats gone?

After some low life tried to nick my baby (knackering the ign lock and butchering the loom) I attempted to hot wire it but got nowhere & thought that my cdi was blown, found out later (after I spent 65UKP on a S/H one) that there is a 100Ohm resistor in the ign and there are no sparks without it!

I have got a spare but as I'm in the UK prob not much use.
If you are really desparate it could be arranged though.
