Just putting this out on the table for now. Some friends and I are heading down to ride the dragon on the last week of April. There will probably be at least 15 of us headed down for a few days. We will be leaving Indy on Tuesday April 22nd, sometime that night after everyone gets off work. It would probably be around 6:00 that night or something. We will be there through Sunday the 27th, leaving sometime Sunday around Noon or so. If anyone is interested in following us down or meeting us there let me know. We will be staying in Merryville(sp) right at the outside edge of the dragon. We will be making arrangements early April on where we are staying so e-mail me if you are interested. I would like to go down there again this year. last year I went and rode the bike down from Indy...that was enough of that crap. I'll be willing to drive my truck pulling my bike on the trailer:D

I was reading abou tthe dragon's tail on the net it looks and sounds awesome. I have never been on a long ride as such and i'm just not sure if I want to rack up all those miles on my bike. If can find a way of trailering my bike down i'm all game, but even then I might still be in for the ride just to say I did it. BTW I live just up in southern michigan

We will all be trailering the bikes down. Last year I think we only put down 3 or 4 hundred miles in the 3 days we were there. A little rain killed the weekend. This year we will have a few more days of riding so there will be a little more riding time. Keep in touch, we can't hold rooms at the hotel untill a week or two before we go. We are staying at a place right outside of the gap, by merryville(sp). There are some good places to eat and a little night life as well. As we get closer I will be checking in to see who is going and were we can meet to follow each other down.

if you have room in the trailer for my bike, it sounds like it would be a blast. I'll have to see about it cause I will have to take time off of work and school. The classes I have this spring i'm not to excited about missing any days because I will probably be lso lost when I get back. However it does sound like it would be a blast. So i'll see what I come up with and then let you guys know.

Yea, telefonica come down to Indy. I only have Miata so I dont know about towing several of us down. But I am game, and I should be off from school. I would love to go and check out your bike up close.

Hey guys I just wanted to drop you a little info. I have been talking to a few guys from Detroit and Redline superbike. I am going to ride along down to the Gap with them on Thursday the 18 possibly the leaving friday mornign the 19 it just depends. I just can't afforde to miss a whole week of school going down with you guys. I'm not sure what you guys have planned but If you want to ceom down on the weekend and we can all meet up down there that would be sweet. But I know how it is when you have your own plans. I just wanted to let you guys know what was going on and wanted to thank you for the offer of going down with you guys, but that time frame is a little tough to do.
