I'm new to this site and was wondering if anyone knows if any aftermarket accessories are available yet. And if so, where can I find some? Here is a few pics of my new toy I got last Friday. I got it OTD for the price of the MSRP.

Yeah they got this new ultra violet glow blinker fluid that glows in the night. They got the new blow up dolls to ride on the back of the seat to make it look like you got a girl. She even wears the shirt that says "This bitch doesnt fall off". http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/ott.gif

The bikes have only been out for what? a month? Give it some time and you will start seeing stuff pop up everywhere... just ride the thing for 1500 miles or so stock and im sure by then you will start seeing stuff pop up. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

2005gixxer600y,
I'm in the process. I have already yanked the bitch pegs and removed a few of the "be a safe rider"stickers. I have only found one under tail bracket on ebay and was looking for additional mods. The reflectors are next. Trust me.

constantine - how do you like those frame sliders?

also, as pointed out to me by constantine if you go to www.suzuki.de (http://www.suzuki.de) then click on the motorcycle, then click on the word "zubehor" (meaning accessories) there are a ton available overseas, cant wait till those c/f products hit the us http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The frame sliders from R&G are on the pricy side of sliders, but well worth it.

Also the left side of the fairing requires a hole!

you can buy OEM Carbon Fiber Trims for your bike.... for the three, gas tank, solo cowl, air duct(i think)... by the footpeg protector thingy....

I know that M4 makes a full exhaust for the k6 600s. From what they said at the Dealer Expo it is like 24lbs lighter than stock. I don't know about that but I do know that they system is extremely light.

Where did you get the frame sliders? Any pics of them on a bike anywhere?

Also trying to find who has an M4 pipe in stock.

Where did you get the frame sliders? ...

I go them directly from R&G.

Got any pics of the R&G frame sliders mounted? Looks like the engine bolt on the right side is way lower than typical gsxr's and there isn't one on the left side. Wondering if the tank will take a big hit on the right on a low-side with the frame slider down so low.

i would also like to see pics of the frame sliders...did you have to do any cutting or drilling on the left side?

Yoshimur, and Suzuki will have some out the first of April. Im the parts manager of a Suzuki dealership. As far as oem, you can get the carbon footpeg covers. They are the same as the 05 06 1000. Ebay has a few fender eliminater kits, and Ive seen the blinkers front and rear, and tailights that are colored red, blue, and smoked. Hotbodies has a windscreen, but its not on there website. I got mine through parts unlimited. Puigusa.com has some windscreens, but the pics are installed on a 1000. buy you get the idea. Thats all I can think of right now

What's the best/safest way to remove those factory stickers off the bike?

use a hairdryer, or some type of heat gun. make sure you dont get it real hot. Use a credit card or liscense etc...get a little corner of the sticker up then just heat it up a little, and pull a little up at a time. If you lucky you can get the whole decal off with no rips or tears. I use goo gone or wd 40 to get the remaining glue off.
