Is carhart jean good to use or another type you can buy in a regular clothing store.or sport store.

You can use any kind you want but just be abvised when fabric-type pants hit the pavement the material frays and they rip right open. Think of leather hitting pavement like wood hitting sandpaperm just scrapes away layers off the top not come apart at the seams and you can understand why it's the preferred kind of material.

im using draggin jeans. i like it.

i now have a 1pc but i don't think i'll be wearing them going to work or school.

I commute to school in Draggin jeans. Have crashed in them before as well. Denim tears up, but the kevlar stays put. Only criscism is that the kevlar is so thin that whatever is scraping picks up a lot of heat. I have a burn scar on my knee where it rubbed the heaviest.

Nothing beats leather, impractical as it is sometimes.
