I was just wondering if any of you guys know if the SV1000S will be considered a sports bike or touring for insurance? I love the way they look and would seriously consider getting one as long as its in the touring category. If not then I have a lot of different choices.

Don't know about the 1000 but the 650 sure is more reasonable than my gix. So my guess would be they treat it as a different class. images/icons/cool.gif

Check with Dairyland Insurance, or Progressive Insurance, if it's available in your area. These two have been the most reasonable for me. By far. graemlins/thumbup.gif

Progressive and Firemont was good for me. The thing that sucks for me is that my insurance went up for no reason.

I believe it qualifies for cruiser insurance.
