How hard would this be to do for a day?
How many people would be needed to make it economical?
What other costs are involeved?
Has anyone every heard of anyone thats done this?
Can we get the numbers to do it?

Well, now steve, that looks like a good question. images/icons/rolleyes.gif
The only problem i can see with this is any legal liability that would attach to anyone going down and looking after someone after they went down. Does the track provide the medical to cover this, is it factored into the hire price, do you need some type of licence to get the track? Insurance?
insurance would be the BIGGEST issue! i know of a car club that has tried to do it (toymods) and they have far more members that would have particpated and at the end of the day they couldnt do it because insurance was teh biggest hurdle, and costs were a bit outrageous, as compared to a normal track day...
but shit! just thinking about it has me all excited images/icons/tongue.gif
i remember the track day coordinator spitting out some numbers once (cos rain threatened) and at the time it seemed ridiculously high...so....?

With the current insurance bullshit (Thanks Mr Adler you FUCKING C*%T), I'm suprised that we even still have ride days.

in melbourne the only ppl doing PI trackdays are the superbike school, balls tuning no longer do them, same as slipstream coz of the insurance crap, but i believe superbike school been an american company may have insurance via some american insurance agent. lucky at eastern creek that there are still a few organisations that do the trackdays there still.
slipstream had a rider hurt themself and bike badly around 18months ago, during a lunch break wheelie sessions that went bad (that rider took them too court, and thus wheelie sessions are no longer held) images/icons/frown.gif

hmmmm...
i have thought about it but then reality came crashing down...
the only way i found it possible is to just hire the track out and just go by yourself...
that way its no-ones fault but your own... and no one can have any probs with you...
hehehe... i know someone with a lot of money... no license (as in he has never had one)... a crashed gix750 and a crashed mv agusta... he should be getting one or both of them back today...
he might be interested in doing for just afew people and himself maybe...
btw... this guy is also planning on getting a gix1k and ducati 999... graemlins/icon_wtf.gif

Marshalls shouldn't be that hard to come by. There a few on this site from aus.
