I'm thinking of getting some rearsets direct from Japan, are there any taxes I need to be aware of?

If you get them via post you might sneak them thru, otherwise GST etc

I but stuff from all over the world all the time .. (ebay is my 2nd home).. images/icons/smile.gif

If you're importing product into australia, make sure that the marked value of the goods on the custom declaration that they have to fill in is < $100USD, otherwise you WILL have to pay import duty and GST..

It dosent matter to the sender what value is marked, ive never had a problem with anyone changing the price down..

Ohh and the other thing to do, is to also mark the contents as 'replacement parts', because customs then thinks that you've already imported something in the past, which was faulty, and these are the replacements... they normally get through a well..

Good luck!
Steve

Just about every mod I have comes from overseas. I have never had a drama yet... although I must say my billet sliders are still in transit from December... but its all good the vendor is communicating and has already promised replacement if they dont show graemlins/thumbup.gif
