make your own. all it takes is a plate of aluminum and a little welding knowhow. any welder thats worth a damn can fab up some brackets in less than an hour.

My buddy took an '03 GSX-R600 and threw a 1000 motor on it. It's quick, really quick. He's upgrading it with a multi-stage nitrous kit. When he's done he'll be putting well over 200 horses to the rear wheel. For this year I think he's only trying to reach 210 horses but over the winter he's going to go with a set of low compression pistons and the Carillo rods so he can put more power down. I can't wait until he's done to see what it's going to do. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Actually there is no mounts, and there never will be. When you put a 1000 motor in a 04/05 600/750 chassis, bolt the rear in first, then when you swing the front of the motor up to bolt it in, the bolt holes actually line up vertically. Have you to cut the motor mount tab that is welded to the framerail off, and reposition it to fit the 1K motor. So dont sit around waiting for mounts, cause you will never find them, there is no room for a mount. I have done this swap a few times. If no one believes me, call Hybrid racing, or email them, and ask them, they make 600/750-1000 hybrid mounts, but not for the 04+. www.hybridracing.ca (http://www.hybridracing.ca)

Good luck, if you have any questions, PM me, or repost, like I said I have done a few of these swaps.

So I will have to moved the mounting point either up or down? Im guessing up. But could I use the same mount, just modify it to make it shorter? Also what is the frame made out of I can't tell. Boxed aluminium? also what about forward tilt of the motor, how much? Or should I not have to mess with it after I move the mounts upwards? im sure there is a reason for engine balance and bike stability.

when you put the motor in, you will see how the motor should be positioned.

Yes the frame is made out of aluminum. So you need a good tig welder for this job. The tilt of the motor will come with the installation, you will see how it should fit when you first try to put it in, when the bolt holes are overlapping, you will see where the mount has to go to make it work, and well there you go, make it work according to what you see, and you got it. Or you could look at a 1000 chassis, and take some measurements....
