Hi all,
I'm new to gixxer.com so I'll introduce myself.
I go by the nickname shanga, live in sunny scotland and am currently running an 2000 TL1000R.
My big question is this.
Are there any other shock bodies that will fit in the original TLR spring non damping units place ?? I know they may not be correctly springed and damped but if a standard shock ( say 1 of a k5 gsxr 1000 )would fit and I could re-valve it and re-springing is easy and cheap, I would be quids in. Minor mods would be acceptable, ie tweaking brackets etc i've done this before fitting a gxr750 shock to a fzr600, and it worked a treat http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
It might be a bonus if it jacks the rear up a little to get the blighter turning in a bit sweeter too http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Any feedback would be much appreciated, http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
