Hey guys i was told to ask dragracers what oil pickup they use.... reason being is i had posted up on the 1000 forum about blowing my motor and me thinking it may be the oil but someone made a good point to me(not on the board) they know me and my riding style and where i ride... i do a lot of canyon carving and so on and they where saying that with the elevation changes and me hauling ass goin up hill that the oil might be sitting in the back of the pan and causing oil starvation to the motor... im not asking if this is what happened to the motor..... but when i rebuild the motor i wanted to put something in so that there is no chance of that happening... i did look into a stunt oil pick up but i dont think that is what i need.... i dont do long wheelies and im not up on one all the time..... i just wanna add this on as a extra bit of insurance to my new motor.... Any help would be great
Thanks
Chris

If you are just hauling ass and doing twisties you shouldn't need any thing different then stock. Just run your oil to the top of the sight glass.
Drag race guys run swinging pickups or baffles in their oil pan because of the g foreces created from a hard launch. I wouldn't recomend a swinging pickup for street rideing. If any thing I would get a baffle.

I would think it is a waste of money on a street bike though.
