Okay gang, haven't posted in here before, but it looks as though I will be very soon....
I'm new to TL's, so be nice...
I'm building my own chassis, and originally was thinking about using a SV650 engine, but came across a smokin' good deal on a TL1k, gonna go look at it this weekend.
A comment I keep hearing is that the engines are extreemly heavy, and there are better engines for the weight, and the power. The problem is I can't find any info to support or deny this statement - any help guys?
Also, Were all the TL's FI'ed, or was there a carb'ed version. Just a question, curious more than anything.
Can anyone offer some practicle advice on the shortcomings of the TL engines and maybe how to fix 'em - as I know it's strenths.
