Midrange 12-23-2002, 08:13 PM Your design sounds good, except, I don't think you can have 'two primary-keys' in a table. There can only be 1 primary key per table (and it can't be NULL). I'm guessing that your variant id, and part number, will be foreign keys of another table ?
Will update with more details on Friday, as I'm now knocking off work early and off to have XMas lunch with the in-laws.
Have a merry xmas... images/icons/smile.gif

culler 12-23-2002, 08:57 PM I'm thinking things like rearsets, pegs, heel plates, yokes, bar-ends, levers, exhaust hangers, subframes, shit the possibilities are endless.
I guess it comes down to what your work allows you to do with all that equipment, but you could turn a profit and help out your motorcycling buddies at the same time images/icons/smile.gif
Typhon291 12-23-2002, 09:47 PM I think you would want a machining center for most of that stuff, there would be to much time involved in thngs like rearsets to do it without one. If we had a machining center those items would be no problem especialy with CAD-CAM.
