I will be documenting my exploits here in the Bay Area here. I am a sponge looking for a puddle of knolege to soak up. I already know about the blinker fluid AND mufler bearings, and I don't need any help from the Squid Farmers.
What do you guys think? Place your bets!
Will the bike make it through 29 race nights?
Will Chicorugger "get off" the bike on his first race?
Will Chicorugger NEVER EVER pass tech inspection?
Will Chicorugger REPRESENT Gixxer.com like a fiend? YES!!!!!!
Like I said, I am a kleenx looking for the runny nose of knowlege.

Well your first step to get through tech will to have proper gear. You will need a full face helmet with a snell rating of 2000 or better, leather gloves, leather jacket, leather boots/shoes above the ankle. That will cover you until you exceed 120 mph. With your bike you will exceed that in a short amount of time/practice. So I suggest you go ahead and also have leather pants that will zip together with your jacket and you will need a tether. A tether or also known as a lanyard, is a cord attached to you and the other end is attached to a kill switch on the bike. So that if you come off the bike it will kill the engine. Another thing that tech looks for on a street bike is to make sure you have a chain guard and it extends to the center of the rear axle. This should get you started

make sure you have boots that go over the ankle too. to go under 120 you need leather jacket, helmet with a snell 2000 rating or above, boots, leather gloves, chain guard, kill switch. to gove over 120 you need all that plus leather pants/jacket that zip together all the way around, or one piece suit with everything else i listed, any qustions just PM me becuase i have been doing the same thing you have been doing for about 6 months nows, so i am geting ready to race myself. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif be safe have fun.

Hey get you a full riding suit that consist of a jacket, gloves, pants, shoes, and also a full face helmet, and also do as much launching practice from off the line as possible but also be safe while doing this, PRACTICE is the key man, do this and everything else will come right to you, hope this helps you out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
