My buddy bought one because it was cheap. They are junk. It was mig welded together but they didnt do it right so the weld has NO penetration so it is not secure. The fit was ver poor. He had to bend it to get it to fit. The steel used is a thin walled steel too. It will bend and crack on any hard drop. It is not worth the money. Get a real cage. FI, 905, MDX, Powers, etc.

Well homeboy! I can tell you this there is nothing at all wrong with racing 905 cages! In my opinion they are probably the best out there on the market right now. I have one on my shit and as far as I can tell, and as far as I have herd they are for sure the best ! I have herd bad things about the fi’s?....I have never had one and a lot of people are all about them but that is because they sort of pioneered the whole cage thing. They where the first to build them. I have herd that they are better now and they have redone the whole design but I still think the 905 is a much better tougher design! Any way there is my input on the subject hope this helps……oh yea an….905 THAT’S WHERE IT’S AT! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/punk.gif

I looked at getting the 905 cage but I'm 6'6" and i sat on a 600 with a 905 cage and could barely get my feet on the pegs. I like the 905 but it just not friendly enough on my shins for as much as i ride my gixxer.

Forget Fi, forget 905 and get the strongest and best designed cage for the gixxer, Powers!

Seriously they are on the money, way stronger then Fi and don't smash shins like 905's!

I would agree that Powers is the strongest and will give you the most protection without banging shins. The MDX stunt cage is also up there. I have never seen the MDX in person but I like the design and have heard good things. The downside is that they are nicknamed "trees" There is a lot of metal there.
