Anyone here interested in all getting together for a run to Bondi or elsewhere one night? We really want enough bikes to make a statement (40 - 50 would be good).

You should stick this is the "Below the Belt" forum. Thats its name not a critique on your ride by the way. PS what exacty do you mean by statement? Riding around coffee shops at night scaring the locals and basically making a nuisance of yourself does no-one any good IMO.

well ummm... i live at bondi...
but yeah... im up for a ride...
preferably before december 3rd coz i gotta go to court and lose my license...
you know what pisses me off... some drunk drivers get off or get a slap on the wrist... and these guys generally arent in control of their vehicle and pose a danger to the public...

yet i was travelling at high speed on an empty (3 lanes each way) expressway late at night on a vehicle well within its capabilities even at 180kms/hr... by the way... i drive this road maybe 3 or 4 times a day sometimes... i lived in this area for 17 years so i know the road real well...

but now some fucking magistrate is gonna take my license for 3 years and fuck me in the ass with a $2200 fine...

i wish i had been caught for drink driving... at least i would have a chance at getting off easy...

fucking cops... and fucking speed limits...
now im just plain on a fucking pissed off rant...

i need sleep...
fuck the system before the system fucks you if you know what i mean...
night...

Is that the standard penalty for your infringement ?
Is there anyway you can reduce the penalty ?
Have you got representation ?

You're probably right about the drunk thing.
If you were drunk and going that fast you would probably get away with
a lighter sentance as you could say you were not in control of your actions.

That's the sort of crazy zhit you hear.

( Curious - was it around Syd Einfeld Drive ? )

Good Luck on the 3rd.

Oh - and the only time I could do a road ride would probably be Sat 30th... ( possibly Sunday.. )

I lost my licence a while ago for 231KPH on the M4. I think it was mostly the fact that I was doing it on the back wheel in 5th. Lost my licence for 2 years and got a $2500 fine in penrith local 'gonna fuck you up the ass' court.

Some people say that you need a licence to ride or drive, I say that you only need a licence to show your age at the pub.

I work in the legal field and get a bit bored with the jokes (unless they're clever). Nice to know you appreciated the work he/she put in.

Here's some happy bananas graemlins/bannana.gif graemlins/bannana.gif

yeah...
he knew the police prosecutor... the magistrate and almost everyone there... he knew just how to present the case to the magistrate as well... he also got my case moved to first up which is lucky because i heard the magistrate was a real bitch afterwards...
so yeah... gotta be happy with that...
but talk about costing an arm and a leg... images/icons/mad.gif

People always complain about legal costs and yes they are expensive, but what would you rather have. A lighter wallet or 3 years without driving/riding.

Still, good luck to you. Can we organise next years Xmas ride now on the Anniversary of you getting your license back graemlins/idea.gif
