I've finally done it... after 12 months of 1 wheel mayhem, my gix1000 parted from me today. images/icons/frown.gif graemlins/crying.gif
The marriage was a very fulfilling, joyous and pleasurable time for the both of us. The old girl really knew how to turn it on images/icons/grin.gif , but unfortunately once that little red italian model graemlins/la.gif caught my eye it was only a matter of time. She tolerated my affair for quite a while but today was her last. Hopefully i will be re-united with her again one day...
My new life with my new bike starts early in the new year.. heres to '03 graemlins/thumbup.gif
Ducati 998s Testastretta in red, (mods planned: Ti Termis, Corse carbon airbox, corse carbon s/seat, corse carbon air tubes= should be 130+rwhp) this is going to get expensive graemlins/icon_wtf.gif
I just hope she isn't too temperamental graemlins/burnout.gif

you'll rue the day you got rid of her..
you'll pine, wake up in cold sweats and feel torn to the pit of your empty stomach that she's with another man..
she's gonna laugh in your face going by with the new man tucked in close to her..
she'll never take you back, the new man won't allow it. very very lonely place to be images/icons/frown.gif

I have been trying to sort one this week, I'm hoping to get a 998r but as their aren't any uk ones left i am trying to get an import.

Cost per service is typically more than double a gix1000 costs! graemlins/crying.gif but the intervals are nearly half as often so it isn't as bad as you would think! still aint cheap tho. images/icons/frown.gif
