What the law says about that in Texas? Does it have to be next to your license plate (on that metallic thing under your plate) or can you put it on your windscreen (or somewhere else)?

I've never been stopped myself (since spring of 02'), and my sticker isn't visible at all. The Penzoil place that did my inspection put it on the inside of the left lower fairing next to my fork. I don't mind it there either myself.
