Anyone using a Yoshimura ECU, I was checking the Yoshi site but it appears that it only increases the Rev limit. Any other benefits to using this ECU then that?

it also does away with the need for a tre or jsd because it has no top speed restriction in 6th gear.

I was hoping there would be a little more power added aswell.

You also don't need to worry about disabling clutch switch and losing revs. Ignition barrel can be removed too so it starts of kill switch. Oh and the ecu has a different igntion and fuel map in it.

I used a yosh ecu because I had removed the secondary throttle valves and wanted some of the other basic benefits of the yosh ecu, but I don't think you will see much difference in hp via fuel mapping: that's what an EMS or pc3 are for.

itll have to be tuned like any system. think of it as the stock ecu with rev limit increase, no top gear restrictions, no clutch or kickstand safety inputs, no stv input and the almighty yosh race kit sticker. everything else is as the stock unit, your still gonna want a pc or ems to tune it.
