Hey guys good to see this forum is picking up.Just wondering if any of you have used an auto

I used one...an air shifter (not CO2). I bought a low budget 12v tire pump from schucks and pulled the guts out of it, wired a switch on my handlebars to it and hooked it all up. The shifter worked very well. (I had a lockup clutch). I actually used it a little too much...when I wasn't fully on it, which can damage shift forks due to improper alignment/ignition cut timing...

Thanks for all the replies guys.I do have an air shifter I put together myself.I have also installed a compressor (gutted walmart special).I think I will change to an auto shifter.I am just worried about
setting the shift at 12000 and not being able to cross the line right at redline. What rpm are you guys
setting the shift for?

How high do the 'shift chips' go ?
I'm curious because I ride an '02 600 and shifting at 12k would not be optimum for me.

YEA THE AUTO SHIFTER IS THE WAY TO GO AT THE TRACK, JUST LET IT RIP AND HOLD ON. A BUDDY HAS IT ON HIS K4 AND HE IS A DEMON AT THE TRACK. THATS MY NEXT INVESTMENT.
