Hey gsxr, it depends on what tree you are runnin on, if it is a regular tree you should try to cut atleast a high 5 to low 6.00 light, and if it is a pro tree, you best to be ready man, because them lights are going to drop QUICK AND I MEAN QUICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In all honesty the only way the light is going to effect your racing is if you are bracket racing.or just out racing all together it will have no adverse affects on your times at all.If you are ust going to practice at the track keep your concerns on your launch till you get that down then start worryying about the tree.

well coming from racing cars, ive come acustomed to chasing the light like im used to doing, on a .500 tree im avge like a.530, best of a.502, and the pro tree a bit quicker around a .422, best of .411. all i can say from one rookie to another is dont chase the tree! i almost planted my self on my ass last year focusing on cuttin a light abd not my launch, and i already decided that, while i aint tryin to be caught asleep at the green, ill be more woried about getting out of the whole consistently for a while.

I cut .086,.078,.031 on my last time out on a .500 light. Watch the lights, go on the second yellow for a .500, but if your not bracket racing, the light doesnt matter much anyways. I was told by exprienced racer to practice at stop lights (if your out front), practice watching the light and going as soon as you see green. You dont have to a pro street bike luanch, just get moving. It helped me alot. Just watch out for jerks running lights. lol
