Yes you need inspection but mine was expired since 00 until about a week ago I finally got a new sticker. I had a hell of a time trying to find a place to inspect my bike. I have a pyramid undertail with no signals in the rear and they would not pass because there were no signals. I got a pair of the short stalk signals and threw them on and they said they were to close together and would not pass it. No problems with the front flushmounts though. I ended up going to my buddy that works as a mechanic at a dealership and had him check out my bike and do the full inspection on it just to see if everything was okay and once again I got told about the signals bla bla bla and then the next day an inspection sticker just so happened to fall out of my buddies pocket and onto my bike.

actually if the pain in the ass inspection places would check the true regulations they would not hassle you so much because turn signals are not required in pa they just do not know this if they do not inspect alot of customized bikes hey mofat if you need any ideas I got a garage that asks no questions too they even inspected mine with a track tire on it lol anyway you can always argue the fact that thats why we are supposed to used those damned hand signals

I was calling around and I just found out what you said. You dont have to have turn signals in pa. Took a call the harley shop/sportbike shop to get some info. That is good to know because I think my new "hot" inspection sticker fell off. Let me know about the place your talking about that does the "good" inspections. Email me at
mofat01@yahoo.com, it should work. I was having problems with it last week.
I have liberteks and the integrator. I was told that PA inspection law states that the rear turn signals need to be 8 inches apart (or something close to that). When I got mine inspected last year, they called me and told me it failed. I drove down to pick it up, spoke with the shop manager...and he let it slide. It seems like if your cool and not out to burn anyone, they will let it slide as long as IF you get pulled over, you say that you did the mod AFTER it was inspected.

hey man did you read our posts it is a fact you do not need turn signals at all no need to fret over your liberteks all these crappy places use car inspection specs on bikes thats why they fail there is no way a person in a car can hand signal thats why cars hafta have them

almost every single exhaust bought aftermarket are illegal so if they are up on the issues they will not pass it but the undertail and blinkers remember you do not need them in PA actually so when it comes down to it yeah they should pass at least you have them http://www.gixxer.com/uploads/1044488563.jpg
