I'm going to be doing some track days this year and i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions which tires i should go with. I've never been on a track before. i've been looking at diablo corsa's, pilot powers and dunlop qualifiers. i am definately not confident with the stock bridgestones.

The DC'sr the PP's. PP's if your gonna use them on the street also.

Have a k3 1000 run sc2 front and rear 31 - 30 psi front / 30 - 28 psi. rear use a 180 rear ,faster tire . good call closetotheedge you'll love this tire the new pro corsa's rock

I'd recomend trying as many brands as possible...i.e. Bridgstone BT002's, Pirelli supercorsa's, Michellin power race, Dunlop 209's...

You may find you have to adjust the suspension when switching from 1 brand to another, but by trying all of them, you'll Know which is best for you.. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I used to run the stock Bridgestone and then did a odd swap to a dunlop 209 front and a Pilot race back.......... WOW stock settings and got the elbow on the ground.
ps..... my k4 gets out of the corners as strong as a k5/k6 and then I pull them a bike lenght with the shorter 1st gear.

where do you get Pilot race? I loved them, hate the Power Race.

Pilot Race Tyres ?

I just by them from my local shop......... don't you guys get them in Eastern Europe ?
