Hey guys, I bout an 01 750 a few months ago and the previous owner claims that the motor is a 791 Big Bore. I havent ridden the bike yet but i have had it running. Is there any way to identify whether or not it is without pulling the head? thanks

Did it have race bodywork on it with some cheesy looking autozone running lights mounted in the fairing? If so, yes! It is Micheal Barnes ex hooter fusa bike from that year. I think he won the championship on it. It was bought by another racer who raced it for a year or thereabouts. It scared the shit out of him. So he turned it into a streetbike and it was sold at ACS in West Melbourne,Fl. Don't know about it after that.

No, it had street body work on it. I dont think its the same bike. And the person i got it from was MI, and he put the motor in. Actually its a 750 motor in a 600 frame.
