I may be in, too early to tell. I will check with the lady tonight. I have the UFC fight on saturday but it doesn't start til like 7 or so. Anyone check the weather report for temps this weekend? I assume it should be low 50's by the time we hit Yarnell and the Spars.

Maybe it will be as hot as it is today. I mean damn, it's like spring outside.

As you know I will be in as long as we arent having my brothers B-day party that day at my house. Right now, I have no clue what he is doing. I hear the weather will be nice for the rest of the week. And also for the westsiders, you can come watch UFC at my house if you like. It will be crowded, but the more the better. Bring your own alcohol if thats what you drink. We will order pizza and wings and soda.

I am not certain about this ride.....to be honest, and I want some honest replies, I have not felt comfortable on the bike the last 2 days. For some reason I feel that I am lacking something, my throttle control is not consistent, my overall feeling for my bike is not up to par. Today I decided to ride in to work and after only a mile or two I felt like I needed to be off the bike. WTF?

Here are my thoughts.....
1) Bike has been sitting for 2 weeks and I am certain the air pressure is off from my usual ride psi. This could cause an un-easy feeling while riding. I should have checked air pressure before riding in to work today.

2) I haven't been on the bike for 2 weeks.

3) It is all in my head, I took a 90 degree sweeper this morning like usual, other than it being cold out, I went through the same line, same speed and had no trouble but felt that I blipped the throttle for some reason.

4) Should I make this ride?

Post up some honest answers, I am a very confident rider, I am more than capable on a bike, on my bike, but should I ride the spars if I feel this way tomorrow?

Well here is the deal,if I felt like that the day of the ride I would still go,but I would ride easy just to get my groove back.

Another thought is ever since I had my bike set up at the track to my height and weight my bike handles so much better.So u may think about having that done.

Two weeks off of your bike could throw u off your groove so if u go just take it easy I know I will be my tires are done so ill be in the back of the pack

I will be bringing a new guy along he has a 2000 GSXR and my friend from the first time we all road up there will be going also

so if everyone from the west side does go it should be 5 of us meeting u guys in wickenburg

but really, if you feel weird about it. ya I would still go but not push myself. Just make sure to do a good checkup on the bike before you go so you feel confident in the bike.

I am pretty sure I am going to make it, I will meet you folks in Wickenburg around 10, I think I will be solo.

I am going to have my bike set-up by the suspension peeps at the track on the 5th or the 12th. I just checked my air pressure here at work, for my rides up north I run 34/32 and on the street 34/34 and my pressures this morning were 30/30 so that would tell me why I thought the bike was pushing.

The shell is on the south side of the bridge when you get into downtown, right next to a taco bell so you can't miss it. I think I need to reduce the tire pressures also so I don't get that rear end slip this time when I am banking over. I'll probably be a bit faster than last time though.

The shell station is the bigger of the two when u first get into Wickenburg.

The station we are meeting at is the larger of the two stations next to Taco Bell in front of a car dealership. I do not think it is a shell station. My number is 602-568-1657. It is the biggest station in Wickeburg on the right side of the road heading north.

Great ride today gang. Glad to see some new faces and cool to meet everyone.

I will try to get on the boards more often. We are in limbo until the tile, carpet and counter tops are finished.. so until then I will be checking once in a while via laptop or at work.

Loms... lines looked great today so it seems all is good. I bet the few lbs from the tires made all the difference in the world. It does the same to me every once in a while.

Mark - thanks, I was trying to work on my turn entry (apex) etc., switched up the riding position a bit more and pushed a little more into the corners trying to get more lean angle, seemed to be working.

Couture wasnt going toe to toe, but he was effectivly countering and waiting for the right time to take him down. In the last fight, he got too rushed and it cost him. This time he was sticking to his gameplan and it was working well till he slipped. And that was all Chuck needed.
