i have a 05 1k and im thinking about setting it up for drag racing. so far ive decided to take the slipper clutch out with a kit off shinitz racing site. and deffinetly lower it, but when do you know your ready to extent the swing arm and other stuff like an air shifter and what not? any info would be great! thanks

When you know you need a swingarm in my opion is when the bike whats to wheelie alot off the line, and a airshifter in my book to me is worth about 1-2 tenths off your time either it's 1/8 or the 1/4 mile.............

The airshifter and swingarm really depends more on how 'dedicated' to the dragstrip you want the bike to be. I mean, both of those mods have a lot of potential to really improve your 60' times... but they both also detract from the corner-carving ability of the bike (IMO).
