Weather is saying 50's maybe. If it's warm enough, I'll be there.

I think team IXL will be out representing on Saturday. Can you help me dial in my suspension on these new Metzlers? The front end is washing out bad!

Define what you mean by washing out. what air pressure and air temp. on the day you had this problem.did it do it in every turn or only one or two?Is the tire a blue or green compound?Did you raise the front ride height at all from the michelins?Where did you get the tires and how old are they?Let me know Mike

The front end never felt like it was planting itself to the ground. It would push so bad that I would have to slow down. My air pressure was set at 28 up front and 29 in the rear. They were the soft compound, not the super-soft. Not sure what color or leters though. The air temp was about 55 or 60 so it was a pretty nice day. Everyone else out there seemed to be a bit faster than normal and I was going a bit slower. The tires I go from Discount. They were a new set. My best time all day was almost a second slower than I run on worn out Michelins.
I did not raise the ride height any in the front. I had dropped it about 5mm from stock a while ago and have never messed with that since. Do I need to raise it back?

In order for the tires to work right the air pressure needs to be at 31 front 30 rear. The airpressure needs to be 36 lbs front and rear when the tires come right off of the track. In other words when they are hot. If the tires are cold tearing in anyway, they are not getting up to temp, a good pair of tire warmers will help. Or you could have a problem with the rebound in the suspension if this is happening. I am the Metzeler/Pirelli tire vendor for the midwest if you have any questions.
