HAHAHA, at least my post didn't just sit there graemlins/laugh.gif , to fuckin hot in the summer and way to fuckin cold in the winter, I've got my tire warmers on my legs right now graemlins/thumbup.gif I didn't think anyone lived here either when I was on the lookout for my bike. I almost shipped one from Iowa - Iowa for fuck sakes? They have more bikes than Ut., Wyoming Idaho, and Montana combined. A few in Co. but not many. Adios.

Should I change my screen name to :

Hey there "Mormon Devil",
I live in utah and i think it kicks ass!!! there is everything to do here except a real Broadway show. you are probably a little lite in the loafers to see that any way! he he
They have dirt biking for days, street biking to die for, and if you're a lover of corners, the canyon carving holds it's own to anything that i've ever seen. during the winter months (about 4 of them) the snowboarding and skiing are second to none. If you feel compelled to strap a motor to your arse, then the snow mobiling rules! any way, just a little window into the life of an average mormon thrill seeking, adrenaline junkie who likes to go to church once in a while too. By the way, I guess that you all haven't seen these fine women out here either! If you had then you would probably be living here too. party on my fellow zuks! graemlins/la.gif graemlins/thumbup.gif

Lots to do, day and night, twisty canyons minutes away, Rocky Mountains in your backyard... and despite what people say, you *can* drink beer there! graemlins/cheers.gif

So the question I have is, do you guys spend more time in the canyons, or on State Street? images/icons/wink.gif

About even! images/icons/tongue.gif

Actually State is rediculous now. One night I counted 18 motorcycle cops in process of giving tickets from I-80 to Chevron on 9th south. Needless to say I don't go there very often anymore.

If you didn't hear they stopped the whole "Dragging State" a while back now it's stupid.

I do agree about the canyons though. Lots of fun!

I recall the good ole' days getting stopped by the cops to check everyone's pipes, laughing at fat chicks... images/icons/rolleyes.gif ...canyons were more fun anyway! graemlins/thumbup.gif Parley's, Big/Little Cottonwood, serious twisties up Ogden Canyon... graemlins/bannana.gif

As far as who I knew, I assume you mean people who ride...? I'm awful with names, but I rode mainly with my buddy Layne. Some others were Les, Randy... older crowd at the time. I knew a bunch of people that hung out at Sugar House Park for a couple of years... but don't remember names images/icons/confused.gif Used to meet up most Sundays and go for a ride from there... Like I said, I'm terrible at names! images/icons/wink.gif

I used to hang out at sugarhouse park too. I had a gsxr 750 with an 1100 motor bored out to an 1186. solid black with polished parts. I am 6 feet 2 inches tall and bald. If you are friends with Less who is a tile contractor, i know him too. Maybe we rode togather. BTW, i am originally from Grand junction graemlins/thumbup.gif

Yes, Less the tile man - busted up from getting hit by a streetsweeper, I think - and I'm pretty sure I remember your bike - very nice! Didn't you live close to Sugarhouse park...? In fact if I remember correctly, in '95 I got nailed by a minivan leaving Sugarhouse on my Blue/White '93 750 and you offered to take care of my bike while I got carted off to the hospital! Ah, the good ole' days... images/icons/rolleyes.gif

You see Less any more? Haven't seen him in a long time... he still riding? It seems most of the people I rode with have moved on in one way or the other... images/icons/frown.gif but I can't get away from it! graemlins/thumbup.gif

That's interesting you're from Grand Junction... graemlins/cheers.gif

Thats a big 10-4. I do remember you and your little scrape with the minivan. I have moved from there and now live in the Rose Park area. I still have that bike only it is bigger and badder. I bored it out to 1340cc and now it pushes 182rwhp, and 107 torque. I haven't seen Less for a couple of years, but the last time i saw him was at salt lake motorsports getting his R1 tweaked. His arm is still bunged up, too bad. Yea, pushing your bike to my house was an adventure, but was sad to see a fellow zuke rider hurt. Glad that you are doin' good and hope you don't have any long lasting affects from the accident. I hopped on your site and checked out your kids. Pretty cool. The majority of the guys have moved on and abandoned the joy of riding. Most of the guys only rode for the women anyway. Good to hear from you and i hope that all goes well with you and yours, Have a Merry Christmas and if you want to e-mail, you can at bigpapa@altavista.net
