From one Husker to another (and from a Steeler fan)....... Congrats to the Broncos on a great season. Is this the year for the One For The Thumb?

I've heard many good things about the broncos fans
Their head coach made it into the steelers lockerroom in the post game to shake the hand of cower which never happens
Very professional

Yeah, great season indeed. Too bad we couldn't make it to the big show but I was happy to see a post season victory since John Elway. I was beginning to think we were doomed w/o him so to get to the AFC title game and have it be at home behind a QB that is less then stellar at best is a great accomplishment. Denver has got a great team and as soon as Shanahan gives Bradlee Van Pelt the reps he deserves I think we'll have another run at the big show. Congrats to the Steelers as they have been playing the best football in the NFL for months now. All the other 'good' teams have been coasting and the Steelers were one of the few teams that were improving their play and getting better and better. They were the better team for sure that day but I think Denver was a decent QB away from giving them a REAL run for their money. It's gonna make for a very interesting Super Bowl against the Seahawks and I'm torn between who I want to win now. I usually go AFC and it will help me sleep at night to know that the team that knocked us off was the best but man, you gotta love the Seahawks too. First time to the big show in franchise history and lord knows that they've fought all season long for it and I'm a HUGE fan of Holmgren and think he got shafted when GB sent him packing and winning a title with another team (that was struggling) a few years later would be sweet justice. On the other hand (is that four hands now?) I've always loved The Bus and for him to win in Detroit as he rides off into the sunset on an amazing career would be about the best ending to a career one could hope for. Back to the third hand.... who knows if Shaun Alexander will return but I think Seattle would be completely retarded to not throw every penny at him that he wants to keep him there. Their team is healthy and young and assuming her returns I see no reason to tweak anything on that team and they'll be back in the hunt again next year. So, after all that, I say..... GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think all of blame should go on Plummer. If anything it is the defenses fault the Steelers got points on the board early. When that happened the Broncos had to throw the ball more since they needed to score. My opinion is that the Broncos were a bit overconfident and assumed Pit would come in running the ball and when they started throwing the ball they never adjusted properly.

I dunno why but it bugs me when someone like Plummer gets all this blame but when Favre has a bad day they still make it out like his shiat dont stink. I think Plummer is still good enough to be their QB, might even make it to the SB next year.

I am a Steelers fan but I have allways liked the Broncos - except for Romanowski (SP?), I thought he was a ass. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
