I like the pics going into Big Bear. One question, how close to the curb do you get mid turn of big bear? (just before you start up hill)
What sliders are you using. I want the Titanium inserts for my next set

I don't recomend Ti inserts. They look cool but are very distracting to the other riders around you.

Yeah, it was a great day both days. The first time out on the Gixxer for me went well. I did have a few moments, but was able to save it both times. Once going into turn one after passing about 5 guys on the brakes I grabbed a bit too much front brake and did a stoppie that went sideways at about 140 or so I would estimate. And once in Turn 4 I lost the rear pretty bad and about lowsided, ran up on the curbing and was inches from the grass. I was able to keep it turned in and save my butt. I found out later in the day that my cold tire pressure had grown overnight by 2 pounds on front and rear and I had forgotten to check it that morning. So I let out 2 pounds in each tire and then had no sliding problems.
I had the Zap Sparking knee pucks from sliderwoman.com and they wore awesome, they are holding up very nicely and had alot of other riders comment on the sparks. I offered to take them off and put on another pair for everyone that commented but they all said it wasnt bothering them, just kinda caught their eye when I was passing them usually or being passed. The Bodywork is Ak Composite, and it is awesome stuff..I will be getting it painted soon and will post some pics once it is painted. www.akcomposite.com (http://www.akcomposite.com) THANKS TO JUNG AND ALI at AK Composite!! Ran with the Double HH Kit Race brake pads from EBC and they worked so well I had to back the adjuster out a few clicks (stoppie!!). That is the first time on the Gixxer at Putnam, I have ran there on my R1 3 different times and I love that track. Thanks for the comments on the pics. Ed did a great job and got over 30 pics of me for the weekend. WWW.soulracer.com (http://WWW.soulracer.com) THANKS ED!
