OK guys, be nice. I had an amateur photographer taking the pics, so he was not very good at when to take them, lighting, sun glare and all that jazz. I am just pumped I was on the track at all! def won't be my last time

What did you rent the track out just for yourself? Looks like you had a blast. graemlins/thumbup.gif Track days I've been to are usually pretty congested.

I was very nervous. I had new H2's on and I wanted to scrub them in right. You should have new tires. Track tires consist of Duns 208's, Michelins H2's Pirelli corsa's....I am sure everyone can tell you. Replace your Antifreeze with water wetter or engine ice. Get a full suit, boots. Tape up lights with painters tape. It wont stick to the bike. My observations were that you need to relax. If you try to push the bike or steer it by counter steering you will go down. Let the bike sweep the corner by using your body. Keep your ball of your foot on the peg. when going through the corners, lean your body. Most of this info will be obsolete. The reason I say that is b/c you will ride the way you feel most comfortable. Most of all Trust your tires and the bike! Not sure what you have, but Zooks are great track bikes!

Nooo..I didnt have the track to myself. I was a corner worker for the California Superbike School. Met Keith Code himself. Really nice guy! I might take the one day class next year. We'll see.
