Well I guess it depends on length of ride, if we head north to Yarnell and the Spars we can figure an early start 8am and get home by 3 or 4 pm. If we run the flats we can start around 9 and be done by 1.

The biggest difference between the 2 is the speed and the cliffs. Spars are faster and you have the sweepers in Yarnell. TTF is much tighter, slower pace and the cliffs are a straight drop down.

Alright - lets plan on LEAVING at 9am, that means meet at 830 and the gas station on the north east corner of 1-17 and the Carefree Hwy. It is the ONLY gas station out there. I believe it is a Chevron.

Before we all trek up there for this ride let do a roll call on Friday and Saturday to make sure the ride is still a go. We have several flakes among us. I will post up a roll call Friday morning asking for committments then.

Remember that there are 2 gas stations in Wickenburg, it is the second gas station (the larger one) after the Shell station. If we are meeting there, what time? I wouldn't mind meeting there at 9 so we are only an hour from the Spars.

Just a heads-up, I plan on riding up through Yarnell (possibly running Yarnell twice depending on LEO's and then hit the Spars. Run the spars and into Prescott for lunch then back down through the Spars into Yarnell and head home through Wickenburg. I have to be home by 4-5 cause I have a soccer game at 6pm.

Wah wah wah! I ride down scottsdale rd. and out carefree hwy all the time by myself and the only thing that ever happened to me was the barrel in the road thing. Plus, I was going out the 74 and you guys were going the 60 route so I just blasted outta there. Was a fun fast ride back down that long straight road.
