Hey,

Plan on doing a race course next year, just wondering what I need to do to my bike to make it track ready?

Thanks

Thanks<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Best to check with the folks that are hosting the track day..the prep varies alot from each organizer, some require more than others..But some basic stuff never hurts, like having tire's that are in excellnt cond...make sure all the nuts, and bolts are tight..and that there isn't ANY fluid leaking from your bike, such as oil ect..most. It's a good thing to safety wire your oil filter, and flush out all the coolant in the radiator, and replace it with distilled water. Ya could add some water wetter to it..Oh..and don't forget to check the air pressure in your tires..ask some riders at the track what they are running..Most important thing is...to have FUN..it's not a race, so ride at a comfy level.. images/icons/grin.gif

Hi Newfie Gixxer. Where will you be taking the course? If it is at Shubie in NS here are a few links for you.

Hope this helps. Kawasaki high performane riding school. Budro has taken it a few times I believe. It's two days and reasonably priced at around $135 Cdn.
