Super clear and super fast looking.... nice one. graemlins/thumbup.gif
Where are they taken?? Somewhere in Cali I'm guessing. images/icons/confused.gif
Thunderhill Park in Northern California (60 miles south of Redding). They are probably the best pics I have gotten. A friends neighbor is hard core camera man came out and took some awesome shots. Check out his web site at www.aerialextreme.com, (http://www.aerialextremes.com,) many thanks to him!
I was riding hard, but couldn't improve my best lap time there. Looking back there are a few things I wanted to try, but that's another story. I was getting real tired out there. I did about 150 miles riding on the track. Mostly sprints trying to lower my best lap time. I strung together a hand full of 2:03 laps the best being a 2:03.21. My previous best was in the 2:02's and I feel I have a sub 2:00 in me!... just haven't found it yet! images/icons/wink.gif
The track is really bumpy in sections and makes for a rather bad day for me. I really don't like going there because of the bumps. Doesn't make for much fun, steals away some speed and slidin'!
But my bike could use some improvements that would make it go faster; gearing, shedding some weight would help.

Nice pics!
One question. Are the concrete construction barriers in the photo as close to the track as they seem? Why? Corner worker station? That kind of needless shit gets me going.
I hope they don't expect a couple of rotting tires to be of any use to someone unlucky enough to go off there. (the only difference between tire barriers and concrete is the sound you make when you smack into it)

(the only difference between tire barriers and concrete is the sound you make when you smack into it)<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">That corner worker station is totally out of the way and not in any type of impact zone. But, the 2nd picture corner is lined with a concrete barrier all along the outside of the edge of the track (scary!), you just have to respect it! There is one corner that has tires set up at the end of a long straight away that is also dodgy.
As I said before, the track is so bumpy in sections that it almost seems like you are riding on the dirt anyway! images/icons/confused.gif

You got that right! Still 10 times safer than going for it on the street I guess. Just wish there were more tracks out there set up specifically with motorcycles in mind.
