Quick question, about how much weight do you think the passenger pegs can support before breaking? I am extremly neverous about trying to put my left foot back there because I am afraid of it breaking off under weight when I get the wheel up in the air. Also, having your left foot back on the pass peg, how much does this affect the steering while at the balance point? I'm not anywhere near riding wheelies at the bp or even riding them out at all, just wondering. Thanks.

I dunno about your bike specifically...but the only bikes I kno that break any peg on just stand-ups are yamahas.

I've done wheelies for miles on my passenger peg and I'll continue to do so.

All types of body positioning affect steering (front peggers/staggered/rear-peggers)

You have to just try different ways out and check it out for yourself

i've seen guys do it Every single wheelie on the back peg..and none stop..but i did see one break before..but he was clutching in a parking lot..im gonna assume there's more weight then...rather then on the highway or something..but im 150 and i do it all the time..but im only little so i have years before it breaks http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif haha
but depends on how much you use it .or how heavy youare ?

ive never broke one i weigh 210lbs i was leary at first too but never heard of anyone breaking one. I imagine if you did break the rear peg things could get ugly quickly lets hope that doesnt happen

Only thing I know, is that it is wierd as hell to get use to. I tried it one time, and won't do it again. I went to bounce it, and felt like I was jerking the bike sidways, due to weight on one leg. Also, I second the Yamis breaking pegs. A buddy that I ride with, who is also a cop;go figire, was doing a standup at about 55, and the right peg snapped off. Only bike I have seen do it. It was a R1 as well.http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/burnout.gif

when ever i done it i recall most of my weight on the right peg, then when i got in position then equaled it out

Thanks for the input, makes me feel better about starting to try and put my foot back there. Just from thinking about it, I think that it would be much more comfortable for me to put my left foot on the passenger peg and bring it up that way, i don't know thought, will have to get out there and try it.

my buddy snapped his zx10 peg twice, scariest shat i've seen. He now has gilles on it with no problems.
