I have heard of Poncho in the Summit Point racing circles. A lot of the old timers mention the name every so often. Concrete patches - they must give the place character because they still have one in turn one and turn five and six. Some folks don't mind, but I hate them. I never feel like they give the best traction - but some folks say they give big time traction - probably just graemlins/thumbup.gif me.

I did a track day on the Jefferson Circuit yesterday (7/20). I don't find the concrete in turn one or two to be a bother. The braking zone into turn 2 is a different story tho.

I know Ganef. He has a bike shop in Beltsville, MD now. He's a good guy.

I was at Summit yesterday for the Nesba track day. There are no concrete strips on the Jefferson circuit. Its a small (1.1 mile track) that is very techinical. It will force you to learn how to ride. The main circuit still has concrete strips though.

When I mentioned the concrete patches - I was talking about the main race circuit. The Jefferson circuit is used mainly for training and track days. I think they both offer thier share of challenges though.
