I just bought a 98 GSXR 750. It has stock forks and rear shock any time I hit a bump while turning it feels like its just going to fall over. Front and rear feel like they there not connected. I reset the front forks he only had them turned out 1 from full hard top and bottom .
I backed it off 1 1/2 turns from full didn't help. Thinking of going back another half or full. Just wondering what the track guys think. I'm 5'11 195lbs. Also I just came off a CBR 600F3 that was real stable it could be that I'm just not used to it.

your best thing to do is check the following,
check your sag settings on the front and rear, get the suspension in a decent setting, but it can be somtthing as simple as checking your tire pressure

Ya might want to check into getting the proper spring rates for your weight also..if those springs are old, maybe worn out, you'll have a tough time settin the proper sag..Also check to sure that the shock linkage is lubed, and in good working cond...then have a look here..

Thanks I'll check that out. I just reset my comp damping front and rear. back it out 2 ont the fork and 1 on the shock and that smoothed things out pretty well. I do like my rearends pretty stiff(no pun intended) so I'll have to pick up a spaner abd add some preload. The fron does seem pretty high but I not sur how to che the sag on it. IF you could explain more most gratefull thanks.

Yup, as above, sag is your best bet... too much can easily make the bike a bit vague when tipping in aggresively...
