1st time out, prob low 11's

if ya keep going you will get into the mid-high 10's at 127-131mph in the traps

I've been on a showroom stock 03 750 and ran 10.42 @ 135.5 mph. Stock tires, gearing, exhaust, ride height, wheelbase...even the mudflap lol. These 750s have tons of top end!!

I'll be the first to admit my 60's suck, but I've gone 10.52 @ 132mph on my 01 750 lowered. My 60's are usually in the mid to high 1.8's.

Without the bike lowered I could only manage a 10.7.

Personally, I've seen 750's do 10.1's at the track on motor only with a small rider.

10s-11s for the average to good rider....

Very High 9s can be accomplished on a 750..

i wanna see a high 9 on a stock 750

NO nitrous, NO turbo, NO 6"+ extended swingarm, NO 1000cc put in a 750 frame, no big bore

Ricky Gadson ran a 9.92 I believe on a STOCK R6, it was lowered, but I dont think it had sprockets or anything, just slammed....

According to my Cycle World mag, that R6 was lowered 4 inches front & back, had lowering links and a tie down strap. It also had -1 front gearing. It turned a 9.98 @ 134.90 mph. Pretty damn impressive http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/punk.gif

With the same setup on a showroom 636, it turned a 10.16 @ 131.33 mph.

the time was faster than that it was a 9.92 or 9.93..... I know for a fact... its in the may 05 issue of cycle world, of the 600 superbike shootout...

I have no doubt a very good rider can take a 750 into the 9's without motor work, nos, arm...I've seen 10.15 from a friend of mine with a 1.8 60ft. Drop that 1.8 to a 1.6 and you've got 9's.

all of you all are missing the point!!!!! dont feed him numbers that he wont be able to do... its obvious that hes not into drag racing or else he would not have to ask this question....

hmmm ricky gadson, 5'2" ? 105lbs ? ya that is almost a real world size rider. when you have the best pro stock strip racer in the world drag racing your bike, lets not throw those times out as easily attainable.

he was also asking about a 2002 GSXR 750, not a 2003, which there are mods to that made more power than the 2002. you can put out numbers for a 2005 gsxr 750 if ya want, but that wont be realistic, you would also tell him times from stock 1988 gsxr 750's also, but that would be slower.

from my experience, i have a 2002 750, i have run a 10.71 @ 131 with nothing more than -1/0 there was a guy who ran a 11.2@118 on a 2001 750, do i think my bike was that much faster, no, i just dont think he knew how to apply the throttle/clutch as good as i did that time. so a realistic time would be low-mid 11's in the 1/4 if you have never been before

Its all about the rider and sea level ect and what one person runs on a similar bike doesn't come close to what someone else Could/did run!!..and 02-03 750s are the same bikes!!

Ricky is about 5'9 175 now I believe..but I know he used to be like 140lbs

Im going to guess Your a decent rider and if You go low 11's high 10's..You did Good!!

Ps.in His sig it says He has a pipe ect..

What kind of mods? I thought they were identical except for graphics/paint. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif They changed in 2004 though http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

i have personaly seen a very small horse jocky run a stock 04 750 all he did was strap the front end and he went 9.96 in the 1/4 mile. i was pretty pissed my bike can run in the 9's but it is a 1000. his bike was completly stock.

i am verrrrry far from being small, unless over 210lbs no gear is small. the 04 i believe was supposed to have what, like 7 hp more. i am sure if i strap the front end and go to the lowest hole on the rear link i would be deep into the 10.5, if not 10.4. I got a tenth faster just by dropping an inch in the front and 1.5 in the rear with no other changes.

i saw a gsxr1k strapped all the way down and modded only go 10.02 for a fastest time here in Tx. (stock wheelbase)

there was an old gsxr 1100 lowered and stretched that was running slow for how it looked. 11.5 @ 120~ or so this past weekends.

I have come to find that my bike does not like humidity. i lost 2 mph avg in a week. from 131 to 129

go to dragbike.com, theres a chick on a 98 gsx-r750 stock shes turned a 9.9

i turned a 10.5 with my 98, and my brothers 02 pulls me, so i know he'd run a 10.3..

I pulled a 10.8 at Norwalk last year on my BONE STOCK 600, it was lowered thats it, no sprockets, no nitrous, nothing else....

it was lowered thats it

that is quite a bit of difference from how it handles stock when it is lowered, how low is it? i lost .2 when i lowered the front 1" and the rear 1.5" with no other changes.
