I live in NJ and am looking to try a few track days this summer. They are building a new road course at the englishtown raceway(in central NJ) but they dont know when its open. Any other suggestions for track days in the northeast?

i like your name dude. haha thats from big daddy right. anyhow go to www.nesba.com (http://www.nesba.com) also try www.teampromotion.com (http://www.teampromotion.com) they are both track day organizations in the north east. most track days they hold are at pocono.(penn) im not sure i like the looks of the english town track. it looks darn dangerous for bikes.

welcome to the site

NESBA isn't doing the track in Englishtown because it looks too dangerous as you said. Summit Point isn't too far away either.

Definitely check out NESBA. The picture in my sig is from Pocono in April with them. Really great people and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Takes me about an 1.5 hours to get to Pocono from Northern Bergen County.

Thanks a lot for the info bmfgsxr. I gotta get out there this year, i haven't done a track day yet and I'm very excited about it. The name is from big daddy. When i met this group of stunt riders, one of them heard my name was steve and he immediately called me scuba. Then everyone stared calling me scuba steve. And it stuck to me. The girlies like it too images/icons/smile.gif

CHeck out teampromotion.com Team prmotion is a great club, they have lots of trackdays at various tracks around the north east area, ranging from pocono to vir in the south to mosport canada up notrh. They have tremndous track coaches who will help you with everything from riding to suspension set up. They have a great riders school tthat is taught by Mike Himmilsbach he is a national champion in FUSA

Like divein6 said, look into Team Pro-Motion www.teampromotion.com (http://www.teampromotion.com) just like NESBA but Team Pro-Motion offers 3 levels of Advance Rider Training (ART) at an extra cost and just added ART Dirt classes, motorcross training on XR-100's. The differance between them is a matter os taste, kinda like the Coke and Pepsi.

I favor Team Pro-Motion but I'm a coach and the Safety Director for them, so my opinion might be tainted.
