For a track day do I need to remove my kickstand? If so what do I do about the cut off switch? I need to know pretty quick as I'm going in 2 days. TIA

Not unless the track day orginizers request it..I don't know of any that want it done..mostly it's tape the headlight, tape or remove taillight, amd blinkers, anything with a lens..some require the oil filter to be safety wired, a good idea, and easy to do..tape the wheel weights, and some want the speedo taped over.I also recomend flushing the antifreeze out of the cooling system, and using water wetter, some require it..if in doubt, check with the guys putting on the track day.. images/icons/grin.gif

Thanks Hammer!
I did the Purple Ice a couple of weeks ago. I took the mirrors off today. I need to handle the lights/lenses tomorrow.

You can zip tie the kickstand to the bracket where the switch is so it can't accidentally come down (that's the reason they want it removed at the track). When you zip tie it up, you don't have to worry about getting the switch disabled.

I'd take it off, you can just connect the 2 wires together. Do what Hammer said as well. I would get rid of the anti-freeze even if they don't require just out of respect for the track and the other people that use it.
