A great track day I can personally vouch for at both the big track and Streets of willow is put on by Hyperclub.la. Once each every month (mostly). At the streets of Willow last Friday I got for $135 so much track time that I took myself off before the end of the day, free advice on suspension setup by Jim Lindemann (in person) Carry Andrews helped me when my 1000 flunked tech (chain too tight), and advice from several medium, fast and VERY fast riders. Steve Rapp went by me at quite a clip, but very polite. All the racers must have had a good talking too before the track opened because I have done about 15 track days and have never seen such disiplined riding. I did not hear of the race riders making any of us "slower" riders uncomfortable all day. Very low crash count too.
Really cool to see the Gsxr1000 race bikes close up and talk to the Ebsco Corona racers and tuner.
I learned more than the one track school I went too. Of course I do ask questions but also (hopefully) know when to let them do their work.
You won't find a better track day for Suzuki lovers. They also had pretty complete race services.
Right now their are lots of great track days around LA. I just wanted to mention one that I like. Haven't heard any bad stories.
