A friend of mine runs this beast in drag racing. Full race Big CC motor nitrous and of course the biggest turbo ever. Ran 8.92 quarter to win the final last weekend. images/icons/shocked.gif

Hiya mate,
Has your mate Woody sold his turbo Bandit then?
Oh! While I'm on...
Are you going to the GSX-R meeting at Santa Pod in August?

Now that's really "OLD SKOOL". graemlins/thumbup.gif
Sweet. The very first stretched(for drag racing) streetbike I ever saw was a Katana..air shifter, nitrous..I don't know what other, if any mods were done to the motor. The overall effect was pretty fearsome. This was back in the late '80s.

Earl:
The turbo bandit went back to the shop.powersports, they said that they wanted it back to put in the shop and weren't getting enough exposure from it ! assholes.....anyway this one is Bigg cc's and is even better ! and as you can see it's on the road too!!! He's coming out for a blast into wales on it at some point which should be funny !
no I can't do the Santa Pod 'cos I'll be away on holiday. Sometimes life just isn't fair !!! graemlins/crying.gif
Anyway, life is good in other ways cos its THE SUMMER and my bike is going great, now I've sorted the carbs !!
Hope you are well mate.

Well if you don't spec the frame exactly they are a nightmare........people often buy them cos they have no fairings and get bored with the max 120 top end else it gets too windy, so they say.
A few of my mates have got 'bored' of them.
They cost too much money and are no where near as good as a good jap bike. Their day was 1981 when jap stuff was crap and wobbly.
