Can anyone help? My 2001 GSXR 600 (K1) starts and runs fine in neutral but as soon as I put it in gear the engine cuts out. At first I thought maybe the clutch was siezed but tested it and it is fine. In fact it dies even with the chain removed. With a little more testing I found that it is cutting the power to the fuel pump as soon as I shift. My dealer told me I had a bad gear position sensor so I bought a new one and installed it but same thing happens. Then they said it was my speed sensor so I bought one of those but it still does it. Now they say it may be the ECU but I am getting tired of buying new parts from them that don't help (they don't take electronic parts back) and the ECU costs a bundle. Now I'm stuck! Any of you good engine guys have an idea for me to try? Bob
