If someone has already had this idea then I apologise in advance but I haven't seen it.
If you have a PCIII on your bike and you would like a powershifter but you can't afford one well guess what ?
You can make it work anyway.
You need to get the software and enable the "power kill" option. This softwae is not downloadable but you can probably get it if you ask around a bit.
Then
Enable the option, go into it's setup and set the RPM you want to shift at.
When you get you powercommander you get a plug in bit for you to plug the 9V battery in.
Well you need to move the red wire to the hole directly below it, cut off the plug for the battery and join the 2 wires together.
This tells the PC that you want to shift when the rpm gets to what ever you set it too.
Then all you have to do is make sure you have pressure on the shift lever when it gets to the rpm you set and it will shift.
This will also make you more consistant in bracket racing.
I have another idea for turning it into a rev limiter for launching but it requires the proper lever sensor etc.
Hope this helps someone , and hope it doesn't piss PC off too much. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
