There are a few streetfighters around me but mostly I beleive it is a European thing.

I have seen some pretty bad ass street fighters, I would like to see some hot fighter bikes in here!

I just got a new '02 yellow 600 to go with my '00 SV650 streetfighter. Pics of the SV are on the SVrider site. First thing I will probably do is yank the lower fairing off the new bike. Let everyone see what's under the little gals blouse. Don't know if I will go all crazy with this bike tho. My SV only cost me 5k new and I put about 3.5k more in it, maybe I should show some restraint with this bike.........NOT!!

Great to have a new forum , as i am building a streetfighter at the moment based on 85/750 gixxer, its been totaly striped, frame has been powder coated and the rear sub frame came from a 2000TLR,i will post some pics as soon as i can scan them.

Yes streetfighters are big over here.smashed up bikes cost a lot to repair, plastics cost over £1,000 to replace so why no spend the money on making it look different instead.

Mine's not a 'fighter yet but probably will be one day !

The look also slows us down and keeps us out of jail. Speed cameras and sneaky police are a pain over here..........some bloke got 1 yr jail time for 165 the other week !!

A Streetfighter is not a stock TL1000S SV650 Bandit Nighthawk or any other "Naked" bike It is a bike that is Modified for Max performance with no or very little bodywork left. They are the customs of our Sportbikes. If you replace your headlight, Tailsection, and swap your TLS engine with one from a TLR you would be on your way!

Hey Bones...

I can understand why it inspired you... THAT'S AWESOME MATE!

I think that they all look good and have liked the look for a while now. To me it's all about someone spending a lot of time (NO, not money) and thinking 'outside the box' to get something that no else has.
like to look at ideas to see how I can make mine better without spending too much money.

The thing that I don't like is where a bike has had loads of money 'thrown' at it for it to attend shows. They have got to be used on the road !
