I tried the shinko out on my bus and i have to say im truely disapointed with it, my 60' went from 1.5s on a mickey to 1.7s on the shinko. Anyone on a bus have better luck with this tire? i wont be using the shinko http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/piss.gif

I don't have a busa, but a lot of friends that do and run the shinko. They 60' 1.4's all day long. You can go to www.northwestdragbike.com (http://www.northwestdragbike.com) and talk to them on the forum.

15 psi, tried heating it up alot, just until it starts smoking, dry hoppin. Seemed ok to almost 60' then spun, shift to second and spun again. that was the case on most all my runs.

You can run less than 15psi in the shinko - I've run mine as low as 8psi. The Shinko tire is *not* as good as the Mickey though - never will be. The Shinko's are inexpensive and last a lot longer on the street (than the Mickey) - that's why they are so popular.

Is that ultra-soft available in the 180-55-17 size yet Dwayne? I can't find any info about it except for the 190 size (still). <grumble>
