its called a 750.... just mount one in your frame and its all taken care of. 04-05 750 motor will bolt right in with no mods at all. just get the motor and ECU/wiring harness and you will be good to go in about 4 hours.

not to mention that you can get a used 04-05 motor on ebay pretty cheap and it will be both cheaper and easier to do a motor swap than to rebuild your 600 engine.

2mm and 3mm stuff is pretty comon place.....we have beenn working on some other stuff too.....

This is pretty cool.......Dyno pull with a stock 600, a 600 with a pipe, PC, and MR9 and then the 654cc Monster.

This motor, like most of our motors are tuned for midrange......off the corner punch.

+1 http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/punk.gif THE best bang for the buck. Plus you'll have $$$ to spare which could be put into aftermarket suspension, brakes, wheels. http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/idea.gif

750 motors are selling for $500-$800 on ebay with wiring harness and ECU included. you just need to find one from an 04-05 model and you'll be golden

i swapped in a 1K motor on my 600 for under $1000 and absolutely love it. you can find 1K motors also on ebay also, you just need a few more parts to make it work but its still really easy to do.

Plus you can sell your 600 motor that came out of it to recoup some of the cost, giving you further incentive to do the swap.

yea i sold my 600 motor locally for $400 and he turned around and got $650 on ebay for it. so technically i got my 1K upgrade for under $600. thats about 50HP at the wheel diffrence

$600/50hp = $12 per Hp gained and about 10 hours of my time to totally complete the job

106 Hp stock and 131 (?) after a bore.stroke gives you a 25 hp increase for $4000 + your stock motor. thats $160 per HP you gain not including the stock motor.

YIKES!! http://www.gixxer.com/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Didn't realize that the kit was that expensive. In looking at the motor, I know there is a lot of money in it, but still.......wow.

The bigger engines won't handle as well as the 600. Not an issue for straightliners or those that can't ride the track fast i guess

there is a SLIGHT diffrence in turning.... but not alot ot worry about. i recently had my bike up in WV at my moms house and it handles just like it did when i had the 600 motor in it. if you setup the suspension for the added 15 pounds from the motor you can barely tell a diffrence.
